Hannah’s Closet North is a resource center dedicated to helping foster, adoptive, and kinship families with clothing, shoes, diapers, toys and other practical items. Caregivers can get specialty items from our Caregiver Corner. Our support group meets once a month where parents and caregivers can be heard and get support from other caregivers.
Registration is required prior to shopping for the first time. Families only need to register once or when there is a placement change in their home. Placement, adoption, and kinship paperwork is required when shopping.
Playground and splash pad. Bring the whole family, water, sunscreen and a blanket to sit on.
Parents responsible for their children.
Appointments are required so we can serve our families and coordinate our volunteers more efficiently. Placement information required for all shoppers. Donations accepted during any open hours. No appointment needed to drop off donations. Please see our donation list on this page for the items we accept.
Families can shop once a month; free of charge, by bringing their placement letter, adoption decree, or Kinship referral in. We believe fostering is something the whole family is apart of, so we also allow the bio children in the home to shop.
Our mission is to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families in small ways so families can concentrate on things like building trust, connections, and helping the children in their care feel loved and wanted. Parenting is hard; parenting a child who has experienced trauma is very hard. We are here to help take some the of the burdens off families.

Welcome to foster, adoptive, and kinship parents and caregivers. Free child care for kids up to 12 years old.
Debbie, Belinda, Crystal, Allison and Grant have all been touched by foster care, adoption or kinship care in their immediate families. Each of them know the importance of helping children feel loved, wanted, and special. They also know how much support and friendship caregivers need and deserve. Together they serve our families.
Please reach us at Hannahsclosetlv@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Current foster, adoptive, and kinship families can shop once a month. Current foster placement letters, adoption decree, and kinship referrals are required.
No. We want to build relationships with our foster, adoptive, and kinship families, so only the legal caregiver can shop for the children in their care.
Hannah's Closet North & Hannah's Closet South are nonprofit community partners working together for our community, however, they are run by different entities. Some rules differ by location. Foster, adoptive, and kinship families can visit each location monthly.
Hannah's Closet North is a nonprofit run by current and previous foster, adoptive, & kinship parents. Clark County Department of Family Services, Foster Kinship and Hannah's Closet North are community partners. We work together to help our community, however, we are each our own entity with our own rules and guidelines.
We ask that you bring items that are still in gently used clean condition back to us so we may give them to another family. Or you give the items to another foster, adoptive, or kinship family.
We rely solely on donations from the community to keep our doors open. We need clothing, shoes, toys, diapers, etc. and financial donations. If you would like to talk to us about having a collection drive or would like to help us financially, please contact us. You can also volunteer at Hannah's Closet North. We need help sorting and hanging donation.
